Beware: I did not proof read this ... so my apologies.
When I got into my senior of highschool and I read the book, "rich dad poor dad" I started to see the bigger picture. And of course over the last 4 years as the economy has struggled, and as I have watched friends parents lose their jobs, and had friends of my own get laid off I watched my dad and other networkers that I knew more carefully. Because while everyone else was struggling they were thriving. Yes they took hits like everyone else but they still had their jobs, how could they not? They are self employed. They were traveling while they were working but their worked looked so fun. Going on an incentive cruise and doing maybe one or two work meetings while there how is that work? So here I am.
A year and a half ago I was introduced to essential oils while I was in school getting my Master Aesthetic license. I have always loved health and wellness and the idea of essential oils and how they worked was fascinating. Now bring in doTERRA an essential oil line I was slowly introduced to by family and a good friend of mine. They are the BEST oils I have ever used. And then the catch.. "Whitney it is a networking company you should sign up!" Hmmm.... I know what I have seen happen in that industry I am what some would call an MLM Brat growing up with a parent who worked hard and has become one of the most successful business builders in the industry.. could I really see myself as a network marketer? Obviously I chose yes.
I studied the product and it is simply put, the best essential oil I have seen. It is getting people off depression meds, helping people with serious asthma get off steroids, helping protect from viruses like H1N1 or Swine Flu and being used in stead of OTC drugs. I know people that have cleaned out their medicine cabinets and only use the oils. The vitamin supplements have been amazing. As a runner they have helped my aching knee, as an asthetician they have helped my always sore shoulders, and as a thinker when my head hits the pillow at night they have helped me sleep better. And they are all natural, Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade. So the product really works. As for the company well just for space saving time, I will say that the company and compensation plan are Amazing and honest.
The company is debt free, the owners are the only owners, no bank has its hand in it in anyway. it has passed what is called the "acid test" so it has survived the first three years and proven that it will be here to stay for a while. It has outgrown all other essential oil companies and is thriving. And is for the next 3-4 years in the momentum phase. So the timing is right. okay but network marketing.. is it a pyramid scheme? NO!!! it is a way to earn financial freedom. This I know from my experience with watching my dad and other friends. Network marketing works. So here is the kicker... can I do it? YES! I have always thought I would love to be my own boss.. Open a spa or something like that, work with a product line. But in anything you do to be self employed you are doing two things, taking a risk and having to believe in yourself like no one else can. So here I am. I have found the right product, company, time, right money earning potential and duplicatable model but that last part.. the key part is belief in myself is why I need this blog.
I need something to hold myself accountable. I need to be writing down and remembering my goals, what I want for my future. That I am capable of creating the future I want, and no one can shut me down. So feel free to follow me on this jounrey, and any advice that is POSITIVE I would love to have. I will be sharing everything from the products I am using and the education I am sharing to the business part and my goal setting.
Even if people are not interested in building the business everyone should know about this line of essential oils and how you can reinvent your health! So enjoy following me. My goal is to post once a week. I am a part-time networker seeing as I have 2 other jobs but one goal is to go full time and leave my other jobs. So.. here we go.
